The 2022 Niro Hybrid (HEV) arrives for the new model year wearing new Kia badging on the front grille, the tailgate, steering wheel hub and wheel center caps. Niro HEV continues to deliver an estimated 50 MPG, offers more than 63 cu.-ft. of cargo space and a long list of standard Kia Drive Wise Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (LXS and above).
Standard Rear Occupant Alert (door logic based) is newly added.For added convenience, 8-inch display equipped vehicles now come with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard (previously wired only).Smart Key equipped vehicles now feature the new Remote Engine Start. Navigation equipped vehicles receive MapCare program with 10 years of complimentary map updates.Niro also expands its DriveWise Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) to feature Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control and Curve (NSCC-C) on vehicles with Navigation and Smart Cruise Control.

The 2024 Kia Sorento Plug-In Hybrid carries over into the model year with very few changes. Runway Red exterior paint has been deleted as a color option, but customers can now pair the Gravity Blue paint color with the Navy interior color pack. The Navy interior color pack adds Navy perforated leather trim and a blue accent on the steering wheel. A gray headliner ties the navy them all together, a departure from the black headliner that came as part of the color pack last year. Entering the second model year of its second generation, the capable crossover is available in three distinct powertrains (HEV, PHEV, EV), with the hybrid rated at a best-in-class 53 MPG combined fuel economy and nearly 600 miles of total driving range. The Niro family of vehicles delivers best-in-class3 cargo room and offers an extensive list of standard features, with over a dozen collision avoidance and driver assist features4.The Niro Hybrid arrives with very few changes for 2024. For greater practicality and utility, a dual-level cargo floor has been added to all Niros except for base LX trim. On the color side, the Fire Orange Metallic exterior paint was dropped from the Niro palette. The Niro Hybrid comes in five well-appointed trim levels: LX, EX, EX Touring, SX and SX Touring.
