Belarus Coordination Council member arrives for Investigative Committee meeting

Maxim Znak, a member of the Belarus Coordination Council presidium, arrives at the Investigative Committee building where he was summoned to appear a day earlier by the Belarus chief prosecutor. Belarus opened a criminal investigation on Thursday 20 August 2020 into attempts by the opposition to "seize power", as strongman Alexander Lukashenko moves to assert his authority after days of protests over a disputed election.
