Schoenbrunn Zoo keepers discover giant panda Yang Yang has given birth to twins, rather than one cub as they initially thought.
Scientists say Mei Xiang, a panda at Washington, D.C.'s National Zoo, is showing signs of pregnancy, though it is still too early to know for certain. Elly Park reports.
Washington's celebrity giant panda Bei Bei leaves the city's zoo to begin his journey to China, the land of his ancestors, which he has never walked on. Giant twin pandas Fu Feng and Fu Ban enjoyed their second birthday celebrations at the Schonbrunn Zoo in Vienna on Tuesday. The sibling bears received a number of birthday gifts, including boxes of potatoes, carrots and special bamboo shoots.
