Moscow, Aug 25 (EFE), (Camera: Filip Singer).- The Kremlin on Tuesday said accusations that president Vladimir Putin was behind the alleged poisoning of opposition leader Alexei Navalny as hot air and rejected calls for a criminal investigation.German medics treating Navalny at the Charite hospital in Berlin on Monday said that initial tests indicated the Putin critic had been poisoned with “a substance from the group of cholinesterase inhibitors.”Supporters of the fierce anti-corruption campaigner believe the politician fell ill after drinking tea laced with poison before a flight from Siberia to Moscow and have pointed the finger of blame at Putin.Navalny was transferred for specialist treatment in Germany on Friday. Berlin, Sep 7 (EFE), (Camera: Hayoung Jeon).- Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has been taken out of an induced coma and is responding to speech, German doctors announced on Monday.Navalny has been treated at Charité University Hospital in Berlin since August 22 after he was poisoned with a Novichok nerve agent.His medical team said in a statement that his condition has improved and he is being “weaned off mechanical ventilation”.“He is responding to verbal stimuli. Berlin, Aug 24 (EFE / EPA) .- (Camera: Clemens Bilan) Navalny was first taken to a hospital in Omsk, Russia, after he fell ill on board a plane on its way from Tomsk to Moscow. The flight was interrupted and after landing in Omsk, Navalny was taken to hospital under suspicion of poisoning.
