Violence erupts at Bogota anti-police brutality protest

Bogota, Sep 9 (EFE).- Fiery clashes erupted Wednesday between demonstrators and riot police during protests against police brutality following the death of lawyer Javier Ordonez, who died after being a victim of police violence during an arrest in Bogota.Ordonez, 46, died in a hospital after two policemen beat him and tased him with a stun gun in front of the building where he lived. The death of Ordonez occured as Colombia commemorates National Human Rights Day. (Camera: JUAN FRANCISCO CHAVEZ).
