The chief superintendent for Birmingham West Police says one person has died and two people are critically injured after multiple stabbings in Birmingham. British police have declared a "major incident" after several people were stabbed in the centre of the country's second city. SOUNDBITE
Footage filmed early on Thursday morning shows forensic investigators and police at London's Russell Square, where a woman was killed and at least five others injured in a mass stabbing on Wednesday evening, in what police suspect may be a terrorist attack.
