Portraits of Sergio Larrain's London are exhibited in Paris

Paris (France), Sep 8 (EFE) - (Camera: María Díaz Valderrama) The phantasmagoric portraits of London in the 1950s photographed by Chilean Sergio Larraín are the focus of the new exhibition at the Henri Cartier-Bresson Foundation in Paris, which opened on Tuesday and is dedicated to a work that marked the rest of his career despite having gone unnoticed by the press. To escape from his family he asks for a scholarship from the British Council, which he obtains and spends several months in London during the winter of 1959".2.- "It is the first time that he is not in Chile and he can work taking care only of the photos that he wants to take. It is there where we find his fantasy, the poetry of his images, he is not someone concerned with the documentary side. It is also the year he enters Magnum, on a stopover in Paris where he meets Cartier-Bresson, who suggests he join the Magnum team".
