Berlin, Sep 14 (EFE), (Camera: Hayoung Jeon).- Poisoned Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny is off ventilation and able to leave his bed, his doctors said Monday.Medics treating him at Berlin’s Charité University Hospital said his condition “continues to improve” and he has been removed from mechanical ventilation.“He is currently undergoing mobilization and is able to leave his bed for short periods of time,” they added in a statement.It came after German authorities said earlier the same day that laboratories in Sweden and France have confirmed Navalny was poisoned with Novichok.FOOTAGE OF BERLIN’S CHARITÉ UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL.
Berlin, Sep 7 (EFE), (Camera: Hayoung Jeon).- Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has been taken out of an induced coma and is responding to speech, German doctors announced on Monday.Navalny has been treated at Charité University Hospital in Berlin since August 22 after he was poisoned with a Novichok nerve agent.His medical team said in a statement that his condition has improved and he is being “weaned off mechanical ventilation”.“He is responding to verbal stimuli. Berlin, Sep 2 (EFE), (Camera: Hayoung Jeon).- Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny was poisoned with a Novichok nerve agent, the German government said Wednesday.The 44-year-old is in a coma in a German hospital where he was airlifted after falling ill in Siberia last month.German government spokesman Steffen Seibert said toxicological tests at the Charité University Hospital in Berlin revealed he had been exposed to a deadly nerve agent.“It is a dismaying event that Alexei Navalny was the victim of an attack with a chemical nerve agent in Russia,” he said in a statement.“The German government condemns this attack in the strongest terms.”German Chancellor Angela Merkel said there will be an adequate common response from the international community as it goes against fundamental rights and values.FOOTAGE OF THE GERMAN CHANCELLERY.
