Thailand poised to become medical cannabis tourism destination

Bangkok , Aug 28 (EFE/EPA).- The first official medical cannabis clinic in Thailand on Friday continued to offer free treatment to patients during the clinic's research phase, which will end in September, attending up to 200 patients a day.As Thailand's economy still suffers from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, the tourism sector might find help from medical marijuana treatment, hoping these will become another attraction for the medical tourism sector.
