According to the Amnesty International, Sri Lanka has one of the world’s highest number of enforced disappearances, with a backlog of between 60,000 and 100,000 disappearances since the late 1980s. Reynosa, Jun 21 (EFE).- The parents of one of the 14 people who were killed Saturday in several attacks by criminal groups in the Mexican city of Reynosa demanded justice Monday for the cold-blooded, and apparently random, death of their son .The attacks have angered the state of Tamaulipas and the country since they were committed in broad daylight.The official death toll is currently 14, although some sources said that the figure could rise to between 23 and 26. Popayán, Aug 25 (EFE) .- With an outcry for justice and an end to murders, family and friends said goodbye to three of the six victims of the massacre on Friday in El Tambo, in the troubled Colombian department of Cauca.In addition to the Collazos brothers, the bullets killed Cristian David Millán, Jaime Muñoz Campo, Yulber Edilson Flor Muñoz and Nicolás Orlando Hurtado.The six are part of the 37 people killed in seven massacres that occurred in the last two weeks in the departments of Nariño, Cauca, Arauca, Valle del Cauca and Antioquia.
