Company in Colombia creates hospital beds that can be transformed into coffins

Description

Bogota, May 15 (EFE).- A factory in Colombia is making biodegradable, cardboard hospital beds that can be transformed into a coffin if the patient passes away. This dual purpose hospital bed, designed under the advice of medical personnel for coronavirus patients, supports more than 150 kilos and can also be transformed into a coffin. The design of the bed would reduce the risk of transmission of the disease since it allows medical staff to not have to move the patient's body. (Camera: JUAN DIEGO LÓPEZ).
