Tons of garbage removed in Cochabamba after ten-day blockade

Cochabamba, May 21 (EFE).- Cleaning workers on Thursday began removing tons of garbage that accumulated for more than ten days in the Bolivian city of Cochabamba.A group of neighbors had been blocking the entry to the dump due to various demands.The niehgbors were demanding the closure of the dump, provision of water, easing out quarantine measures, the resignation of authorities such as the interim president of Bolivia, Jeanine Áñez, and elections to be held in the country which have been postponed by the pandemic and still have no date.(Camera: CLAUDIO ABREGO) FOOTAGE SHOWS THE GARBAGE COLLECTION WORK IN COCHABAMBA, BOLIVIA.
