At least 20 dead in El Salvador after heavy rains, landslide

San Salvador, Jun 3 (EFE).- The number of people who died due to the heavy rains that have affected El Salvador since the weekend rose to 20 when a mudslide buried a family of 7members during the early hours of Wednesday. Rains from tropical storms Amanda and Cristobal left at least 20 dead and six missing while causing extensive damage across El Salvador, pushing more than 24,000 families into shelters amid the coronavirus pandemic. Intense rains, landslides and floods have been registered in different parts of the country. (Camera: VLADIMIR CHICAS).
