City in Spain begins running Covid-19 tests on all residents

Torrejón de Ardoz (Spain), May 29 (EFE) .- (Camera: Manuel Única) Located in Madrid, one of the epicentres of coronavirus in Spain, the city of Torrejon de Ardoz started on Friday testing all of its 130,000 residents for the disease. Health workers are expected to test some 28,000 residents a day.FOOTAGE OF THE TESTING.SOUNDBITES OF PEPA SORIANO, DIRECTOR OF THE PROJECT.Translation:"We have planned to carry tests out on all residents over the age of 1, which we estimate is around 130,000 citizens.""It's an antibodies serology test. So each citizen will be able to find out whether they are coronavirus positive or negative and in the case of them being negative, whether they have developed any kind of antibodies."
