Texas clinics raise layoffs after patient drop during pandemic

Dallas / Arlington, May 27 (EFE / EPA). Baylor Scott & White Health, in Dallas, announced Wednesday their intention to fire 1,200 employees, in addition to cutting wages. Many healthcare institutions have experienced a decrease in patient numbers, largely due to the suspension of surgeries and non-urgent procedures.Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington plans to reopen and use body scanners to measure temperature, and all visitors will have to wear a mask.
