US-China cold war won't benefit anyone, says Premier Li

Beijing, May 28 (EFE/EPA).- The Chinese prime minister on Thursday struck a conciliatory note amid growing tension with the United States, saying the so-called cold war between the two countries would not benefit any of them and harm the world.In a message focused on reducing the tension, Li Keqiang said relations between the two countries face new problems and challenges, but they continue to maintain communication in sectors such as the economy, trade, or culture.Addressing a press conference after the conclusion of the National People's Congress, Li underlined that the bilateral ties were complex and had overcome many challenges in the last few decades.
