Salvini, Meloni lead far-right demonstrations in Italy

Description

Rome, Jun 2 (EFE), (Camera: Jorge Ortiz).- Matteo Salvini's League and its partners, the ultra-nationalist Brothers of Italy and the conservative Forza Italia, protested in Italy against the government, despite large gatherings are still prohibited in the country.FOOTAGE AND SOUNDBITES OF Brothers of Italy (FdI) leader Giorgia Meloni AND THE LEAGUE LEADER MATTEO SALVINI.- MELONI:“There are millions of people who, two months ago, lived from their work. Their activities were closed by decree and were later abandoned”.- SALVINI:“If they tell me that they will give me money next year, it is the same that if I am going to the hospital sick and the doctor tells me 'calm down, I will heal you, but I will give you medicine every year'. My friend, money is needed now, not next year. By next year some families and companies will have disappeared.""We propose solutions. The first thing we propose to the government and half of the people here want is zero bureaucracy. Therefore, supply Italy with works, roads, motorways, ports, airports and railways (...). Companies, rather than financing, are asking for simplicity, speed and efficiency."“If companies do not work, if Italians do not work, the debt does not decrease. And if we have to wait for permission from Europe to go back to work, we will have to wait 6 months... we won't be able to do it."
