Beirut, Sep 10 (EFE), (Camera: Wael Hamzeh).- A fire erupted at a warehouse at the Lebanese capital’s port Thursday, a month after a massive explosion at the same spot.On 4 August, a blast took place when a warehouse at the port containing ammonium nitrate caught fire, killing more than 190 people and wounding other 6,500."A fire broke out at a warehouse for oils and tires at the Free Zone of the port of Beirut, and operations to extinguish it have started. Army helicopters will take part in extinguishing it," the Lebanese army said in a statement on Twitter.Attorney General Ghassan Oueidat ordered an immediate investigation into the caues of the fire.“According to a telephone call with our armed forces and intelligence to conduct an immediate investigation into the fire at Beirut’s port, we decided to assign the task to all security agencies,” the Justice Ministry said in a statement.DRONE FOOTAGE.
