Bridgestone job cuts: French ministers meet to prevent site closure

Less than a week after the shock announcement of the closure of the Bridgestone plant in Béthune in northern France, French ministers Agnès Pannier-Runacher (Industry) and Elisabeth Borne (Labor) meet to put pressure on management to try to prevent the closure of the site, which employs 863 people.
