La Paz, Sep 14 (EFE).- Dozens of people with disabilities from different provinces of the department of La Paz marched Tuesday to demand an annual bonus from the Bolivian interim government, to alleviate the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. (Camera: MARTIN ALIPAZ).SHOT LIST: PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES PROTEST OUTSIDE THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE IN LA PAZ, BOLIVIA.SOUD BITE: ROSA QUESO, AN EXECUTIVE SECRETARY OF THE FEDERATION OF COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND IMPAIRMENT OF LA PAZ DEPARTMENT.TRANSLATION: We have submitted our demand on Sept. 7 but unfortunately we have yet to receive the answer. That's why we needed to take it to the streets today. Our first request is to amend the decree of national solidarity fund so that the government can grant a bonus of 1,000 Bolivians (around $144) to people with moderate, severe and very severe disabilities during this time.
