Vatican City, Oct 28 (EFE) - Pope Francis on Wednesday expressed his bewilderment and sorrow in the face of last Saturday's attack in Kumba, Cameroon, on a school where eight children between the ages of 9 and 12 were killed. FOOTAGE OF THE POPE'S SERVICE.TRANSLATION OF STATEMENTS BY POPE FRANCISCO:- "Students were barbarously killed this past Saturday in Kumba, Cameroon, by such a cruel and senseless act, which has taken the lives of little innocent people while they were in class at school".- "May God enlighten hearts, so that similar gestures will never be repeated again and that the tormented regions of the northwest and southwest of Cameroon may finally find peace".- "I wish that the guns would fall silent and that the safety of all and the right of every young person to education and the future could be guaranteed".- "I express to the families, to the city of Kumba and to all Cameroon my affection and invoke the comfort that only God can give".
