Manila, Mar 12 (EFE/EPA).- Fears of the silent spread of coronavirus, a possible lockdown and inconsistent information from the government have triggered waves of panic buying in the Philippine capital, Manila, as residents stockpile and search for goods like face masks, hand sanitizers and food. The coronavirus cases in the country has risen to 49 on Thursday.On Wednesday, the World Health Organization (WHO) officially declared the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic.
