Bolivian morgue struggles to cope during Covid-19 pandemic

Santa Cruz, Bolivia, Jul 13 (EFE).- The coronavirus pandemic has put a huge strain on morgues with some struggling to keep up with the increased demand on their services.One mortuary in Santa Cruz, the worst-affected city in Bolivia, used to receive three bodies a week and now has 30 accumulated on the premises.FOOTAGE OF THE MORGUE AT THE MUNICIPAL PAMPA DE LA ISLA HOSPITAL IN SANTA CRUZ.SOUNDBITES OF CARLOS FAUSTINO TAPIA, MORGUE WORKER.
