French Prime Minister Édouard Philippe arrives at the Élysée Palace to speak with president Emmanuel Macron after his local election victory at Le Havre on Sunday. Philippe takes members of the Citizens' Convention for the Climate in to the Palace for talks with Macron. The work of the Convention has resulted in nearly 150 proposals, to which Macron is expected to offer initial solutions or counter-proposals. IMAGES
French Prime Minister Jean Castex and the Minister for Ecological Transition, Barbara Pompili, welcome to Matignon about twenty representatives of the Citizen's Climate Convention for an update. Several months ago 149 proposals were made by 150, randomly-picked citizens, 146 of which were initially accepted by president Emmanuel Macron.
