Deadlocked: Squabbling EU leaders leave virus rescue package summit

Description

Around 6 A.M, German chancelor Angela Merkel, Hungarian Prime minister Viktor Orban, French President Emmanuel Macron and other leaders leave a deadlocked summit on a huge coronavirus rescue package. The marathon talks have failed to yield agreement over the size and rules for a 750-billion-euro ($860-billion) package of loans and grants to help drag Europe out of a recession caused by the pandemic. The squabbling leaders are set to meet again later on Monday. IMAGES
