New York, Apr 13 (EFE/EPA).- New York state, the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic in the US, on Monday surpassed the threshold of 10,000 Covid-19 deaths, although Gov. Andrew Cuomo said that because the number of new daily cases is not continuing to increase, it is likely that "the worst is over" - for that state, at least - in terms of the increase in the number of new infections. New York has suffered 10,056 deaths so far in the pandemic.
