With 10,128 confirmed cases, Ecuador placed fourth with highest COVID-19 rates in LatAm

Guayaquil, Apr 21 (EFE).- With 10,128 confirmed cases and 507 deaths, Ecuador is placed at the fourth with the highest rates of COVID-19 in Latin America after Brazil, Peru and Chile.However, the real figures could be much higher than the toll reported officially as the the deaths in the Ecuadorian province of Guayas were said to be underreported.
