Hundreds of Corvette-owners revved their engines along the Ocean City boardwalk in Maryland on Saturday, for the 30th annual Corvette Weekend, a charity event and Corvette parade of around 700 Corvettes. Brand new Corvettes revved up beside classics in a parade that welcomes Corvettes from all generations. However, Corvette Weekend was bitter sweet because the parade also marks the end of the driving season for many Corvette enthusiasts, especially for owners of rare old models too sensitive for the winter cold. Hosted by the Free State Corvette Club, a club of Corvette enthusiasts, Corvette Weekend includes car a show, rally and a parade down the city Boardwalk as a fundraiser for four different charities, including Spina Bifida, United Service Organizations, Change Inc, and the Therapeutic Recreational Riding Center. And of course, not to be forgotten, Batman was also there in his Batvett, making sure justice was being done.
