Thousands of protesters flooded the streets of London on Friday to protest against police brutality under the Black Lives Matter slogan following the deadly shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile in the United States last week. Demonstrators blocked traffic at the capital's Oxford Circus high street, before marching to the BBC headquarters and the American embassy.

Protests erupted across the US after two amateur videos emerged showing police fatally shooting two different black men in the span of 48 hours.

Miami, Jun 5 (EFE/EPA).- Thousands of people on Friday took to the streets of Miami to protest over the deaths of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd. The protest came on what would have been Taylor's 27th birthday. Taylor was killed during a botched police raid in Louisville, Kentucky. The 46-year-old Floyd died on May 25 when a Minneapolis police officer - Derek Chauvin - knelt on his neck for almost nine minutes after Floyd had been handcuffed and placed facedown on the pavement.
