Draft law to ban women wearing short skirts sparks outcry in Cambodia

Phnom Penh, Aug 11 (EFE/EPA).- Cambodian women have rallied on social media to condemn a draft public order law that would ban women from wearing items that are ‘too short or too revealing'. According to media reports, the Ministry of Interior has drafted a law banning men from being topless in public and banning women from wearing shorts, skirts and dresses that deemed to be too short and against cultural traditions.
