Los Angeles, Aug 6 (EFE/EPA).- The Los Angeles City Hall was illuminated Thursday with the Lebanese flag in solidarity with the victims of the explosions that took place on Tuesday in the port of Beirut, which has left 137 dead so far and more than 5,000 injured. The incident was caused by the detonation of 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate sitting in a warehouse at the port, and the huge shock wave caused considerable material damage several kilometers around the affected area.
