Moscow (Russia), September 8 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Sergei Chirikov) The Presnensky district court of Moscow passed a guilty verdict on Tuesday against Russian actor Mikhail Yefremov for causing a car accident in which the driver of the other vehicle died. FOOTAGE OF THE TRIAL.
Darya Trepova, a 26-year-old accused of killing a military blogger and supporter of Moscow's Ukraine offensive, appears in court for her case's first hearing. Russian investigators say Ukraine orchestrated the attack on Vladlen Tatarsky, which took place at a cafe in Saint Petersburg in April. Trepova is alleged to have gifted Tatarsky a statuette, which exploded minutes later, killing the blogger and wounding more than 30 others. Ukraine has denied involvement and blamed domestic infighting for the killing. IMAGES

Marina Ovsyannikova, a journalist who became known after protesting against the Russian military action in Ukraine during a prime-time news broadcast on state television, waits for a Moscow court session inside a defendants' cage over charges of "discrediting" the Russian army fighting in Ukraine.
