Le troisième volet des aventures de l'ourson Paddington qui retourne au Pérou, son pays d'origine, pour rendre visite à sa tante Lucy, à la Maison des ours retraités.
James est un homme brisé par sa séparation avec son grand amour. Un jour, une mystérieuse lettre lui parvient et le rappelle à Silent Hill pour l'envoyer à la recherche de la femme qu'il aime. Là-bas, il se retrouve dans une ville qu'il connaissait jadis, mais qui semble avoir été transformée par un esprit maléfique inconnu. Alors que James pénètre plus profondément dans cette obscurité effrayante, il rencontre de terrifiantes figures, parfois familières. Il commence alors à se demander s'il devient fou et lutte contre lui-même pour trouver un sens à cette étrange réalité, afin de parvenir à sauver son amour.
