PETA activists stripped down in freezing temperatures opposite Berlin’s Kaufhaus Jandorf for the opening of Berlin Fashion Week on Tuesday, baring their skin to shed light on the fashion world’s ties to animal cruelty. The protesters were wearing nothing but animal masks and underwear despite the frosty surroudings and held signs decrying the leather and fur industry. They also laid on the ground in front of cardboard gravestones, feigning death in a bid to highlight the plight of animals. Other demonstrators were seen handing out flyers supporting the PETA cause.
Images released by the Led By Donkeys political activist group show their members completely covering the road outside the Russian embassy in London with hundreds of litres of yellow and blue paint in an act of solidarity with Ukraine. The demonstration comes on the eve of the first anniversary of Russia's full-scale offensive in Ukraine. IMAGES
