Student protest in Greece demands better anti-COVID measures

Athens, Oct 1 (EFE) - (Camera: Yannis Chryssoverghis).- About 1,500 high school students, who have been occupying hundreds of schools for more than ten days, demonstrated Thursday in Athens to denounce the lack of effective measures against the coronavirus. In front of the Parliament, in Syntagma Square, about 20 people threw stones at the police riot police forces, who responded with tear gas. The protests were also repeated in other cities of the country such as Thessaloniki.FOOTAGE OF THE PROTEST, INCLUDING STATEMENTS BY:Irene, high school student: "We are very angry. We thought Kerameos would listen to us. Unfortunately, our efforts have not been successful. A week later and we are here again. People don't know what's going to happen."
