She previously became the face of a campaign for inclusive playgrounds during the 2014 Olympic Games. Polina is one of 350 children who are taking part in a joint participation programme between the Confederations Cup organisers and McDonald's. Many of the children come from orphanages, foster homes, and low income families.

The die-hard fan completed the first of 14 sessions in the tattoo chair which will be required to ink in the full black and red shirt of Brazil’s most popular team onto Mauricio's body.
