At the Nürburgring, Audi Sport Team Comtoyou achieved its breakthrough in the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup. In the series’ third event, Frédéric Vervisch on clinching a third and a second place celebrated his first two podium results. His teammate from Comtoyou Racing, Nathanaël Berthon, scored his first points in the Eifel as well.

24h Nürburgring 2018 – The last four hours of racing

After 20 hours of racing, the number 3 Audi Sport Team Phoenix car was the best Audi R8 LMS in the field. Frédéric Vervisch was sixth overall. In the TCR class, Bonk Motorsport was on course for a podium after the retirement of the Prosport Performance car. Hermann Bock/Max Partl/Rainer Partl/Volker Piepmeyer held third position in the Audi RS 3 LMS.
