Nissan revealed its new Nissan LEAF - the world's most advanced mass-market electric vehicle (EV) and icon of the company's Intelligent Mobility vision. All electric, and packed with ingenious technology, the new Nissan LEAF is the company's first car in Europe that will embrace the early steps of advanced driver assistance, and is packed with cutting-edge innovations such as e-Pedal, allowing you to drive and brake in a totally new and seamless way. It can also go further, with a range of 378 km/235miles on a single charge, and has been redesigned for a new generation, with a sleeker look inside and out. The new Nissan LEAF will be on sale in Europe from January 2018. Nissan Intelligent Mobility is the company's blueprint to redefine the future of driving and looks to progress the role of the car to be more than simply a mode of transport. Nissan Intelligent Mobility is defined by how the car is driven, how it is powered and how it integrates into society.

Nissan has unveiled a 100% electric emergency response vehicle concept, designed to provide a mobile power supply following natural disasters or extreme weather events.Called RE-LEAF, the working prototype is based on the Nissan LEAF passenger car, the world’s first mass-production electric vehicle.Alongside modifications to navigate roads covered in debris, the RE-LEAF features weatherproof plug sockets mounted directly to the exterior of the vehicle, which enable 110 to 230-volt devices to be powered from the car’s high-capacity lithium-ion battery.The RE-LEAF can be driven into the centre of a disaster zone and provide a fully mobile power supply to aid the recovery process. The integrated energy management system can run medical, communications, lighting and other life-supporting equipment.

Nissan continues that focus with the 2023 LEAF, with a refreshed exterior design, new aluminum-alloy wheels and a revised lineup to deliver maximum value for EV customers.The updated LEAF makes its debut at the 2022 New York International Auto Show prior to its summer on-sale date.The 2023 LEAF will be available in two grade levels, LEAF S and LEAF SV PLUS. The tailored model lineup reflects the most customer-requested features and technologies, offered at the best value.The updates to the 2023 LEAF include an enhanced front end appearance, with a refreshed front grille, bumper molding and headlights that feature a new black inner finisher. The Nissan badge is now illuminated and has been updated to the brand's new design identity.In addition, the shapes of the tire deflectors at all four corners, rear under diffuser and rear spoiler have all been modified for better aerodynamics.The 2023 LEAF SV PLUS also comes standard with an aggressive new 5-spoke 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheel.Inside, changes for the 2023 model year include the new Nissan badge on the steering wheel and a new start-up video on the instrument panel screen. Black cloth is standard on both trims, with gray finishers for LEAF S and gloss black finishers for LEAF SV Plus.
