GOP Tax Bill Has Saved U.S. Corporations Over $13 Billion In 2018

Over 180 S&P 500 companies have saved $13 billion in 2018 thanks to the GOP’s tax cuts. The US financial sector saw the biggest decrease in tax bills, with $4.6 billion. According to Bloomberg, the five major U.S. banks raked in $2.5 billion in tax savings. The Republicans’ law cut the corporate rate to 21% from the previous 35% federal rate.
