Iran Foreign Minister On Mission To Save Nuclear Deal

Description

According to a report by Reuters, Iran's foreign minister embarks on a world tour of world powers, in what has been called a last-ditch effort to save the Iran nuclear deal after the United States' withdrawal from the accord. Iran reportedly claimed that it would remain committed to the deal regardless of the United States' withdrawal so long as Tehran can achieve its goals in cooperation with other countries involved with the agreement. Reuters reports that President Hassan Rouhani claims to have asked Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to negotiate with European countries, China and Russia in the coming weeks to save the accord.
