More aid reaches trapped Syrians; doubts cast on peace talks

A second batch of aid reaches the besieged Syrian town of Madaya and two trapped villages, as the UN accuses rival factions of committing war crimes by causing civilians to starve to death. Mana Rabiee reports.

  • Colombia starts peace talks with dissidents who rejected FARC peace pact

    The Colombian government and dissidents of the FARC guerrilla group that signed a 2016 peace pact, start talks with a view to demobilizing some 3,500 fighters and putting an end, once and for all, to their armed insurgency.
