When it comes to accountability, the president needs to understand that his actions were the problem, not the solution. South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham Business Insider reports Graham said he was 'embarrassed and disgusted' by Wednesday's breach, saying the 'domestic terrorists' need to be prosecuted. Thursday, he slammed Trump's legal team for pushing false claims about the election after President-elect Joe Biden was declared the winner. Nevertheless, Business Insider reports Graham said he doesn't believe invoking the 25th Amendment is 'appropriate at this point.'

CNN projects that South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham has held on to his Senate seat. Graham will return to the Senate for a fourth term after defeating Democratic challenger Jaime Harrison. South Carolina is a conservative state that hasn't elected a Democrat to the Senate since 1998. CNN has also projected that President Donald Trump will win the state's 9 electoral votes. Graham serves as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Graham pushed through Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation just days before the election. Graham had said previously that he would not appoint a Supreme Court judge during an election year.
Former state legislator Jaime Harrison is challenging GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham. He is hoping to take Lindsey Graham's spot for US Senate in South Carolina. Graham is one of the most high-profile Republican Senators and a vocal supporter of Trump. Graham is seeking a fourth term to office in 2020, according to Business Insider. Harrison is putting up a formidable fight in deep-red South Carolina, narrowly outpacing Graham. Harrison is doing better than Graham in fundraising and ties Graham in recent polls.
