Sources tell Reuters Amazon.com and Lionsgate are working on a television series that would be based on the music of 74-year old recording artist Bob Dylan. Bobbi Rebell reports.

    On Monday, Bob Dylan has sold his entire songwriting catalogue of more than 600 songs to Universal Music Publishing Group (UPMG). UMPG didn't disclose how much it paid. The NY Times estimated that UPMG paid more than $300 million. Business Insider reports that this is biggest-ever publishing acquisition for a single act. Dylan has sold more than 125 million records. The deal sees Dylan sells rights to all songs in his catalog, including his songwriter income and control of copyright.

"Bachelor" alum Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem Chigvintsev were chosen as the new champions Monday. Bristowe and her partner performed an encore of their Argentine Tango to "Toxic" by Britney Spears to secure the win. The winning duo also danced to "Sparkling Diamonds" from "Moulin Rouge" on their final night. The results came as a shock to many, who had assumed "Catfish" host Nev Schulman and pro Jenna Johnson would take the title.

  • Netflix's TV Series "Away" Will Not Return For Season 2

    Elle magazine is reporting that Netflix has cancelled the Hillary Swank space drama "Away." In the series, Swank plays the conflicted Commander Emma Green. She leads the first-ever human mission to Mars, leaving behind her family. "Away" is not the only show Netflix cancelled recently. It also axed "GLOW" and "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina." The show was expensive and intricate to produce, as space sequences took days to plot and choreograph.
