Scores of people gathered in Castrillo de Murcia to celebrate the 'El salto del Colacho' baby jumping festival during which babies are said to be absolved of their original sins by ‘devil-men’ who jump over them.
The northern Spanish town of Sabucedo was flooded with tourists last weekend who wanted to witness the 'Rapa das Bestas', or 'Capture of the Beasts', where riders cut the manes of wild horses, which live in the mountains around Galicia. The festival, which dates back hundreds of years, takes place on the first weekend of July and is done in an effort to track and delouse the wild horses living in the mountains of northwestern Spain.
