French police evacuated a Gypsy camp in Paris Wednesday sending more than 400 mostly Hungarian and Bulgarian Gypsies on to the streets in search of a new home.

Robert Keith Packer, 56, was arrested in Newport News, where he lives. The government will not be seeking detention for Packer. However, Packer is barred from visiting Washington unless it’s for a court appearance.
