A Microsoft spokesperson told the Inquirer that the company downloads files onto devices in case users decide to upgrade.Microsoft says it prepares systems for installation as a courtesy but Microsoft should be a bit more transparent about what it’s doing. , why not do the right thing and notify them that the download is about to begin and give them the chance to postpone it?
