Ahead of the imposition of a new contract Junior doctors in the UK have begun two days of full strikes controversially including both A&E and maternity care.
The last three months have seen rolling strike action in accident and emergency departments across France. This Friday, the government announced it would free up €70 million in immediate funds. Our reporters have been to meet the doctors and nurses who are calling for more beds and staff to better accommodate patients and work safely.
