Protesters were trying to mark International Day Against Homophobia in Moscow but were thwarted by police, while a similar event passed peacefully in Russia's second city, St. Petersburg. Gavino Garay reports.
Authorities in the Mediterranean country have banned all domestic LGBTQ+ events, citing "security reasons".
