Parkland Survivor Says Meditation Would Help Students, Not More Police

Description

Kai Koerber is a survivor of the February 14 school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida. After his experience, he founded the Societal Reform Corporation. It's a non-profit that aims to help improve the mental health curriculum of schools, says Business Insider. Koerber also continues to fight gun laws, but wants to focus on mental health as well. He believes "meditation and mindfulness exercises" are essential devices.
