Restoration of war-damaged historical sites begins in Raqqa

Description

Historical sites destroyed during the Syrian civil war are now being restored in Raqqa. Archaeological sites sustained extensive damage during clashes between the so-called Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) and US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
